Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Liverpool John Moores University is home to LJMU Maritime Centre (formerly the Lairdside Maritime Centre).
Their maritime centre in Liverpool is home to an array of cutting-edge training facilities, including a five bridge full mission ship-handling simulator and an engine room simulator. Through the delivery of their courses, they have trained numerous maritime professionals, deck officers and marine engineers.
