Carnival UK is currently accepting applications for cruise line cadetships for the January 2021 Semester. They are looking for interested candidates for Deck Cadetships, Engineer Cadetships, and Electro-Technical Cadetships.
Cadetships with P&O Cruises and Cunard
Carnival UK is the parent company of two distinct brands, P&O Cruises and Cunard. Carnival UK offers seafaring cadets a number of exciting cadetship training programmes that will rival any other industry experience. When you join as a cadet, you’ll also have the opportunity to travel, gain top qualifications, and get paid for it too. Carnival UK will pay your tuition fees while you train with them.
They are looking for candidates who have a passion for the cruise industry and are keen to have the opportunity to combine industry experience while gaining a Foundation Degree (FD) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nautical Science. The maritime colleges that Carnival UK works with include:
- Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, Glasgow
- South Tyneside College, Newcastle
- Warsash Maritime Academy, Southampton
- Fleetwood Nautical College, Fleetwood
- National Maritime College of Ireland
Requirements for Cadetships with Carnival UK
Before applying, make sure you hold the following: GCSE (grades 4-9) or Scottish Standard level (1-2) or the equivalent in English, Maths, Physics or Combined Science and at least one other subject. Also, candidates must be UK or EEA citizens and be a resident in the UK for at least one year immediately prior to application and have the right to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
