Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line operates the Grand Classica out of Palm Beach, Florida offering short Bahamas cruises getaways. The ship carries 1,680 passengers and 590 international crewmembers.
Facts About Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line was formed after Celebration Cruise Line ceased operations following a grounding incident with their ship, Bahamas Celebration, in October 2014. Former Celebration Cruise Line executives formed the new company, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and purchased the Grand Celebration from the Costa Group in December 2014.
The ship was originally built for Carnival Cruise Line in 1986 as the Celebration. It entered service for Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line in February 2015. In April 2018, NeoClassica was purchased from Costa Cruises and renamed Grand Classica. In November 2020, the cruise line sold Grand Celebration and in January 2021, the Grand Celebration was beached for scrapping.
The Grand Classica is now their only cruise ship with plans to restart cruising in July 2021. Although their cruises are marketed to adult couples and singles, they also have a kids’ program for children aged 3 to 17.
