Havila Voyages is a new environmentally-friendly Norwegian cruise line. The company has plans to build four new ships to operate along the coastal route from Bergen to Kerkenes, in Norway. Their first ship, Havila Capella, was delivered in November 2021.
Facts About Havila Voyages
Havila Voyages had originally intended for the first two ships to be completed in Q1 of 2020, but there were delays due to pandemic-related difficulties at the shipyard in Turkey. In January 2021, it was reported that the two ships were expected to start the coastal service in summer 2021. In November 2021, the Havila Capella was delivered to Havila Voyages and will start her coastal route from Bergen on December 1, 2021.
Three more ships will be built for the Norwegian Coastal Route. They will be named, Havila Castor, Havila Polaris, and Havila Pollux.
