Royal Caribbean Group has hundreds of job postings listed on their career pages of their website as well as jobs listed on their partner sites. Royal Caribbean Group is made up of five brands, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea Cruises, TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. As their cruise ships start returning to service around the globe, which cruise ship job opportunities are available and how do you apply for one of these jobs?
Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises Jobs
Both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises are actively recruiting as they anticipate the restart to cruising in the summer. Although Royal Caribbean has 24 ships and Celebrity Cruises has 12 ships, their gradual cruising restart requires both cruise lines to hire more crew.
Just recently, Royal Caribbean Group revamped their Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises employment pages into one main career portal instead of two separate employment websites. Here you will find links to their global network of hiring partners as well as links to search for shipboard job opportunities. Currently there are job openings in nearly all departments. Applicants must register their profile online with Royal Caribbean’s career tracking resource, CTRAC.
Silversea Cruise Ship Jobs
When visiting the Royal Caribbean Group career pages, the link to Silversea Cruises shipboard opportunities still forwards interested job applicants to Silversea Cruises career pages on their own website. Their exclusive hiring partner is V. Ships which currently has eight different cruise ship job postings including Master, Infection Control Officer, Bartender, Waiter and Sous Chef.
Additionally, Silversea Cruises is actively recruiting for Silversea Expedition Careers. These include Expedition Leader, Assistant Expedition Leader, Expedition Program Coordinator, Expedition Lecturer, Expedition Guide, Bear Monitor and Kayak Guide. Interested applicants can apply online directly through Silversea Cruises career pages.
Cruise Ship Jobs with TUI Cruises and Hapag Lloyd Cruises
Although both TUI Cruises and Hapag Lloyd Cruises are brands of Royal Caribbean Group, to apply for jobs with these German cruise lines, applicants are not recruited through Royal Caribbean Group’s career website. Instead, both these cruise lines use Sea Chefs as the crew management company to recruit hotel, restaurant, galley, entertainment, spa, and gift shop staff for their cruise ships.
Currently, Sea Chefs has over 20 different cruise ship jobs listed for TUI Cruises. These include galley, restaurant, bar, entertainment, IT, front office, guest relations, child care, and spa jobs. Comparatively, Sea Chefs lists over 30 job vacancies for Hapag Lloyd Cruises.
